Based on ethnic minorities living in Sanjiang County, this 6 days Guilin Ethnic Minorities culture tour will show you the world hidden in mountains. The highlgihts in this tour include Longji Terraced Fields, villages of Zhuang, Sanjiang Drum Tower, Village of Dong People, Shelter Bridge of Dong people, Li River Cruise, Yangshuo, Reed Flute Cave, and Fubo Hill.
Our local professional guide and experienced driver will expect you at the airport after your baggage reclaim and customs clearance, and then escort you to check in the hotel in downtown area. Relax during the rest time of the day to recover from the jet leg. You will get some suggestions about how to spend the rest time of the day from our tour guide.

2. Bars do have rest time and not available in whole 365 days, and we will recommend the equivalent ones to you based on your specific touring date if the bars closed. If you do have some in mind, please feel free to let me know.
3. Generally, the bar visiting activity is placed at the first night of a new destination for giving both you and your tour guide much more time to rest and prepare for the next days' activity. However, we would pull it out and arrange to 2nd or 3rd day if it has time conflict with your flight, or sightseeing.
Longji Terraced Fields
Located approximately 27 kilometers (about 16 miles) southeast of Longsheng County, 2 hours driving distance from Guilin, Longji Terraces area is a vast region of rice terrace stretches layer upon layer, coiling around from the base of Longji (the dragon's backbone) Mountain to its summit. Known as Dragon's Backbone rice Terraces, Longji terraces look like great ribbons as they wind from the foot to the top of the hill. Though most districts of the Guangxi region have the terraces, but Longji Rice Terraces is the most amazing terrace in China.
Minority Villages of Zhuang
Longsheng area is not only a scenic spot to see scenery but also a nice place to see the culture of some China's ethnic minorities. Scattered across the magnificent terraced fields are various minority villages, where Zhuang, Miao, Yao and Dong people are living. These different minority groups are maintaining their own unique costumes and traditions, and living in harmony with each other. This provides a valuable opportunity for tourists to see firsthand the rich variety of customs in the region.
Sanjiang Drum Tower
As the representative of Dong Minority culture, Sanjiang Drum Tower is most famous among all ethnic minorities' drum towers in China. It provides the local Dong minority with a good site to undertake ethnic assemblies and festival cerebration. Hailed as "the first Dong drum tower in the world", Sanjiang Drum Tower was exquisitely constructed by a folk architect team led by Master Yang Siyu who was of Dong minority. The body of the tower is made up of wood without using any nail but marvelously keeps solid. It has four floors of viewing stand, with the highest one located at the 25th floor. On the foundation support of the tower, exquisite carvings reflecting the Dong's daily life can be seen.
Sanjiang Dong Village
Located at the juncture of Guangxi, Hunan and Guizhou provinces, Sanjiang Dong village is in Sanjiang Dong Autonomous Prefecture with mountains and rivers surrounded. Sanjiang means three rivers, named after the three rivers in the county, Rong River, Xun River and Miao River. Sanjiang Dong Village is a special and quaint village where the old custom and tradition still remains. Most of the residents here are Dong people, so the main reason to visit here is to admire the spectacular Dong architecture, the breathtaking natural scenery and the splendid culture of Dong ethnic group.
Li River cruise
From Guilin to Yangshuo, the Li River gracefully flows over 83 kilometers and the banks of the river offer the most beautiful scenery. This section of the Li River appears like a classic Chinese ink painting with its green hills, crystal water, verdant bamboo and clear water reflection. The great Tang Dynasty poet Han Yu vividly described the landscape as "the river winds like a green silk ribbon, while the hills are like jade hairpins". The comfortable Li River cruise will take approximately 4 hours from the bustle of city life and into a peaceful and relaxing world. The only thing you need to do is bring your imagination, a camera, and keep your eyes open, as the stunning Karst landscape will give you a surprise around each bend of the Li River flows under the clear blue sky.
Yangshuo
Yangshuo, a land of idyllic beauty, is one of the place where you can have a breath of natural fresh air, diverse cultures and exotic flavors in China. Besides, the 1,400 years of history bless it with a deep traditional culture. The diverse ethnic minority groups including Hui, Zhuang, Yao and others, enrich it with special folk cultures represented by their various festivals; while many foreign residents add exotic flavors to its fascination.
Reed Fleet Cave
Reed Flute Cave is a marvelous cave with a stunning world of various stalactites, stone pillars and rock formations created by carbonate deposition since 180 million years ago. And illuminated by colored lighting, this fantastic world of stunning sceneries is found in many variations along 240 meters long cave. Walking through the serried stone pillars on changing spots, a feeling of here is the paradise Gods live. This natural limestone cave with multicolored lighting has been one of the Guilin’s "Must see" marvelous attractions for over 1,200 years, and got the name from the type of reed growing outside, which could be made into melodious flutes.
Fubo Hill
Fubo Hill, which locates 2 kilometers from Elephant Trunk Hill and above the western bank of Li River Scenery, is another wonderful scenic spots of Guilin. It is 120 meters long, 60 meters wide and 213 meters high. Besides, since the galloping water is always blocked here and eddied, this hill is considered to have the power of subduing wavers, hence the name Fubo Hill (Wave-Subduing Hill). Also on this hill there is a temple built in Tang Dynasty (618-907) in memory of the General Fubo.
